For all ferrous and non-ferrous metals, exceptionally good for high strength joints (Except white metals). Brutus G produces the very highest strength thin joints for repairing machinery and equipment. This alloy has an excellent wetting action and is easy to use. Since no special preparation is necessary, Brutus G is ideal for the most difficult maintenance repair jobs where crack-free results are essential. Strongest joints are only .003 inches thick.

Temperature: 1575°F (857°C)
Recommended Settings:
1/16 Diameter – 1.6 mm
3/32 Diameter – 2.4 mm
1/8 Diameter – 2.3 mm
Best Practices
Clean joint thoroughly.
For increased capillary action on butt or thin joints apply additional Brutus Flux (available separately).
Heat entire joint to dull red and continue heat until alloy penetrates.
Do not melt base metal.
To form bead, use low torch angles and apply alloy one drop at a time.
