Featuring a martensitic matrix with Boron Carbide, it is both highly efficient and effective while avoiding the harmful properties found in chromium bearing hardfacing products. Orion B is incredibly hard and wear resistant deposits of 65-69 RC in a single smooth-running pass.

Recommended Settings
AC/DC or DCEP (+/- 20% of recommended settings)
Recommended settings:
1/8″ Diameter – 115 amps
5/32″ Diameter – 140 amps
3/16″ Diameter – 190 amps
Best Practices
Remove all damaged metal with Electra AAA gouging rod or by grinding
Single pass only
Preheating may be required for high alloy steels or cast iron
Build up to size with Apollo A or Polaris A
